Gallagher’s Turboline 20 mm tape is the highest-quality and safest 20 mm electric fence tape. This tape can be used for both short and long distances and is suitable for both permanent and mobile fencing. Thanks to its high visibility, the tape forms an effective visual barrier.
This blue electric tape is ideal for deterring wolves, wild boar and other wildlife. This is because they can distinguish the colour blue more easily than other colours. As a result, they will recognise and avoid the wildlife-proof fencing more quickly. This tape is then used as the top conductor.
With a low resistance of 0.09 Ω/m, this tape conducts electricity many times better than standard 20 mm tape. This is due to two 0.25 mm tinned copper wires running down the centre of the tape. This is important because it ensures the entire electric fence remains effectively energised, even over long distances of more than 500 metres. In addition, there are two 0.16 mm stainless steel wires and one 0.20 mm wire, evenly distributed across the width.
The Turboline 20mm tape is also reinforced with a binding thread on the top and bottom. This reduces the risk of tearing in the event of damage and minimizes stretch, allowing the tape to remain taut longer when under tension and requiring less maintenance.
